Lack of Data Visibility

Dyno Nobel could not track and see all of the account data. They have different sales team and processes that would not allow the sharing of information. This created silos of information where consultants, sales reps and managers did not know what is truly happening with an account.

Dyno Nobel has clients with sites around the world. This created a problem where one site would communicate with Dyno Nobel, and another would need a different set of information.

Dyno Nobel was using an out-of-date MS Access database on a shared server that did not allow for multiple users to track their activities. This was causing problems with untracked time and inaccurate information.

After an extremely negative experience with another partner, we got to work with Simplus and never looked back. It's a shame we didn't go to them in the first place.

The Outcome

Simplus created an effective solution to allow all interested parties to share and collaborate on account information. This information is gathered from different sources, including sales, service, and consulting, as well as the client themselves.

Dyno Nobel now has the ability to track the client’s needs, tailor a solution to them, and then track the individual progress towards meeting those needs. This information is then compiled into a client facing scorecard that is then distributed to the client on a monthly basis.

Information now rolls up by site to a parent account. This gives the overall picture of what is happening for the entire client, but also allows the users to drill down and see the context and details of what is happening at each individual site.

Dyno Nobel now uses Salesforce1 to allow eld consultants to see and track information about their jobs. This has improved the accuracy and timeliness of the information, as well as provide full transparency into what is happening with the client. The of ine sync allows them to enter data while in very remote locations.

With aggressive timelines, Simplus hit the ground running with me and were beyond helpful in setting up Salesforce CPQ, working through complex setup and pricing models with ease... There's no question who I'm going to back to. Their knowledge and talent have far exceeded my expectations!
